Neuroscience Research Australia
NeuRA (Neuroscience Research Australia) is an internationally recognised, independent research centre focussing on the brain and nervous system. This year's brief was to create an annual report that was less of a report, and more about acknowledging what they do – their people, areas of research and discoveries. At the core of our concept is the idea of 'progress'. Progressive thinking, advancing science forward, the progression of research findings into new therapies. More importantly, it is about each of us progressing through life. Our goal was to tell a cohesive story that clearly linked medical research with real life benefits for everyday people. We divided the review into sections that represented different stages of life, which allowed us to lead into the specific neurological challenges we face today, and the role NeuRA plays in the discoveries and therapies of tomorrow. This Annual Review also gives an insightful overview for all stakeholders – who's experience with the institute throughout the year may be limited.
